Why London is its own problem
Thirty-two boroughs, one search box.
Search in London does not behave like search anywhere else in the UK. The same query typed in Holborn and in Croydon returns a different map pack, a different set of competitors and, often, a different intent behind the words. A firm that ranks first in the Square Mile can be invisible four miles south.
That is why a single "London" page almost never works. Google is answering a local question, and a page that could belong to any borough answers it for none of them. The businesses that win here have a real page for each catchment they actually serve, supported by a profile that matches, and reviews that arrived this month rather than two years ago.
The second London problem is competition density. In most UK towns the firms above you are not paying anyone. In London they are, which is why the honest timeline for a competitive head term is four to nine months rather than the thirty days you will have been promised elsewhere.
-
Borough-level pages One page per catchment you genuinely serve, written with local specifics rather than a find-and-replace of the area name.
-
A profile that matches Correct primary category, full service list, service areas and photography from real jobs.
-
Reviews as a habit A steady flow your team can send in ten seconds, because recency counts more than total.
-
Authority from UK press Earned editorial coverage in publications your clients read, not a monthly link quota.
-
Reporting by position Every month, the same terms, whether they moved or not.
Free rank audit, back in one working day.
Send one search term and your website. You get your position, the three firms above you, and what it takes to pass them — before you pay anyone anything.
How the money works
A fixed monthly figure, and nothing you cannot leave.
No setup fees, no hourly billing, no percentage of your revenue. The number is agreed after the audit and it does not move unless the scope does.
Terms
Rolling monthly
Thirty days notice on either side. We ask you to think in six-month horizons because that is how long the work compounds, but you are never tied in.
Billing
Invoiced in advance
One figure a month, payable within 14 days, excluding VAT. One-off projects are split half on start, half on delivery.
Ownership
Everything stays yours
Accounts, content and links transfer to you on exit at no charge. The asset you paid for leaves with you.
We are not a full-service agency with SEO bolted on. Search is the practice; everything below exists because rankings need it.

What you actually get
One page a month, and the number on it is the same one every time.
Most agency reporting is designed to survive a flat quarter. Ours is one page: the position for every term we were hired to win, the calls and forms those positions produced, and the revenue you attributed to them. The same rows, in the same order, whether the month was good or not.
That is only possible because we record where you rank in week one, before a single change is made. Everything after that is measured against a number you saw before you paid us anything — which is the difference between proving a result and claiming one.
It also keeps the conversation short. The monthly call takes twenty minutes because there is nothing to interpret: the terms moved, or they did not, and if they did not we tell you what we are changing.
Why firms stay
Six reasons clients give when we ask why they have not left.
People
Senior people only
No junior account handlers. The strategist who audits your site is the one who runs it, for as long as you are with us.
Proof
Baselined in week one
Every position recorded before we change anything, so movement is provable rather than claimed.
Reporting
One page a month
Position, calls, forms, revenue. The same rows every month, whether the quarter was good or not.
Exclusivity
One client per borough
We will not take your direct competitor in the same sector and the same catchment while we work with you.
Authority
Earned links only
UK editorial coverage, never a link network. It is slower and it is the version that survives an update.
Honesty
We turn work down
Roughly one enquiry in four is told no, with the reason. It saves everyone a wasted year.

What clients say
Reviewed by the people whose phones started ringing.
Left on our Google Business Profile by London firms we still work with. Every one of them can be checked.
We had been through two agencies who sent beautiful reports and moved nothing. They moved us eleven places in a quarter and the phone started ringing.
Managing Partner · Harcourt Legal
The monthly call takes twenty minutes because the reporting is one page and I actually understand it. That alone was worth changing agency for.
Practice Owner · Bellworth Dental
I was sceptical about SEO for a trade business. Eighteen months later it is the only marketing we still pay for, and we have stopped advertising entirely.
Director · Northfield Electrical

Six sectors where a position is worth real money.
We are deliberately narrow. These are the London sectors where we already know the search behaviour, the competitors and what a top-three position is worth per enquiry.

Content & digital PR →Where we work
London, borough by borough.
Local search is decided street by street. We build borough-level pages and profiles for the areas your customers actually search from — not one generic London page doing the work of thirty-two.
Straight answers
The seven questions we get asked every week.
Technical fixes can shift positions within four to six weeks. Competitive London head terms realistically take four to nine months to reach the top three. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is either bidding on your brand name or selling you something else entirely.
Retainers start at £1,200 a month for a single-location business and sit between £2,800 and £6,500 for competitive multi-branch or e-commerce work. You get a fixed monthly figure after the audit.
No. Everything runs on a rolling monthly basis with thirty days notice. We ask for a six-month outlook because that is honestly how long the work takes to compound, but you are never locked in.
We do, but London and the Home Counties are where our competitive data and press relationships are strongest. If you are a national brand we will say so upfront.
A named senior strategist based in our London office, supported by our technical and content teams. Nothing is outsourced offshore.
You will know early — the baseline is recorded in week one and positions are reported monthly. If we are three months in without meaningful movement, we will tell you before you have to ask.
Yes, and it usually goes faster that way. We can hand your developers a prioritised technical spec, or implement directly if you would rather we had access.
